On June 28, two of The Owl Foundation's staff had the privilege of joining Carol Ricciuto of the Open Sky Raptor Foundation in her release of a Golden Eagle on Manitoulin Island. Wound treatment of such a strong and powerful bird required more hands than Open Sky could manage alone and TOF was glad to lend a few strong arms to the cause. This joint effort between the two facilities meant Zeus was well on his way to recovery. Read his story below.
